Awards
Banquet :
Our awards dinner will be beginning at 6:00 p.m. on
Saturday. This will allow us to keep the dealers' area open through
closing time on Saturday. The dinner will be buffet style and will
cost $38.00. This will include entertainment
provided by the stars in the form of radio play re-creations. There
will also be an additional "ole time radio" program recreation
done on Friday evening.
The increase in the banquet price from last year's $30.00 is needed
to cover the gap between what we are charging and what the hotel is
charging us.
You may pay by the day if you're unable to attend
the entire 3 days, but it will be cheaper and easier to be pre-registered.
We will have your registration packet waiting for you at the registration
desk. If you wish to attend the awards dinner on Saturday please include
an extra $38.00 to your check. Pre-registration
payment can be mailed to:

--- Directions ---
Whispering Woods Hotel is located back from
the northeast corner of Highway 302 and Hacks Cross Road in
Olive Branch, Miss. Highway 302 is sometimes referred to as
Goodman Road although a section of Goodman is not on 302. There
is development going on along Hacks Cross Road as it nears 302
and the hotel is behind the development on the east side of
Hacks.
One way to reach the site is to get on Highway
385 which runs from the southeast corner of Interstate 240,
the circumferential expressway in Memphis . You exit at Hacks
Cross Road and go south. On one or more of the maps below, 385
is called Nonconnah Parkway. That is no longer the name. It
is now Bill Morris Parkway but I think 385 is prominantly shown.
The Hacks Cross Road-302 intersection is about 5.2 miles south
of 385. You turn left on 302 and the entrance to the hotel grounds
is about one quarter mile east of the intersection on the north
(left) side of 302.
There are other ways to get there.
You can go down Interstate 55 from Memphis
and turn left (east) on 302 (Goodman Road) in Southaven. Hacks
Cross Road is about 11.5 miles to the east.
Or you could come southeast on U.S. 78 (Lamar)
from Interstate 240 in Memphis and then turn east on 302 and
travel about 3.5 miles to Hacks Cross.
Below you will find 5 maps that will hopefully
help guide you to the new hotel site. The first shows
Memphis and the surrounding area (note the hotl site marked
with a red star). Each succeeding map pulls further and
further out in order to to give you driving instructions.
